Welcome to Clive Engwell's Art.
Clive Engwell is a talented and very enthusiastic design and technology teacher with special skills in delivering resistant materials, product design with computer aided design, technical drawing and ICT. He is also a well rounded managing director having left teaching early in his career for a life in industry.
A qualified engineer and designer he started his career as a Rolls Royce apprentice and subsequently spent some thirty years in a number of senior posts in Ford, STC, GEC, Xpelair, Gold Cross and latterly in Rest Assured Holdings where he was Group Managing Director. He returned to teaching at the age of 60 in 1999 and retired from King Edward VI Grammar School for girls in 2006
Clive has been drawing and painting all his life and now studies at Warwickshire College of Art, painting in a variety of styles but with a passion for fine detail work reflecting his technology background.
